Death Cafe

Please join Trish Flynn and Sue Goodrum for an afternoon in the lounge at the Whitstable Umbrella Centre of drinking tea/ coffee and eating cakes, and talking about any aspect of death and dying.

There are no agendas or experts, just people who want to talk together, or just simply listen. This group is not intended as a bereavement or a therapy group.

We love holding the Death Cafes, there’s always laughter and new perspectives and stories to be heard. We are informal, friendly people and we love the lightened atmosphere for all of us once death can be spoken about with more ease.

These café sessions have proved inspiring and helpful, laughter as well as seriousness. They enhance our living.
