Muddy Buddies

Also funded by the National Lottery Community Fund our Muddy Buddy scheme, was a collaboration with Age UK to bring together Grandparents and their grandchildren through a series of gardening workshops.

Intergenerational learning provides benefits to all involved, leading to a reported increased sense of purpose, learning opportunities, boosting self-esteem and uniting different generations through shared learning which increases emotional intelligence.

Intergenerational learning can reduce isolation, broaden social circles and aid cognitive stimulation
