Hive Desk Hire
Established at Whitstable Umbrella Community Centre in 2018, Hive is a creative workspace and natural incubator for freelancers, small business owners and home-workers. Hive is in the heart of Whitstable, within the town’s community centre, and when you hire a desk from us you become part of our working community.

Hirers are welcome to bring along their dog; providing they are happy to chill out in our space.
The onsite St Mary's Town Garden, looked after by Umbrella Centre volunteers, is an ideal spot to take a break.
Private offices are also available for hire, subject to availability.
Pricing
Our un-serviced desk hire rates are designed to be both accommodating and affordable for your work life balance, hire starting from as little as £3.75 a day. You can choose to work whichever weekdays suit you within a one month period (the hire period). Desk hire can be changed or cancelled with one month’s notice.

All desk hire is subject to availability.
Hire is to be used within the calendar month of booking as per the hire agreement.
Invoices are sent at the time of booking and each month in advance, please inform the Centre manager if you wish to stop your desk hire as we often have a waiting list.
