As well as working with commercial hirers who run activities on our premises,
we also arrange activities and community ventures.
We provide space free of charge and offer support and advice to those groups.

Community Clothes Bank
The Community Clothes Bank is a community non-profit project covering East Kent. It is based in Whitstable, in partnership with Whitstable Umbrella Community Centre. Social Pantry Project at Whitstable Umbrella Centre
– Supported by 12 dedicated local volunteers With The Umbrella Cafe CIC we have created a social pantry shop, open Wednesdays and Thursdays.
